Jesse Jerome Hall


Jesse Jerome Hall, 93, a long-time resident of Dothan, passed away, Sunday, April 12, 2026, at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Malvern Baptist Church with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Pinckard Memorial Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home of Dothan directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 2:15 p.m., prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted.

Jesse was born February 10, 1933, in Geneva County to the late Manuel & Addie (Spivey) Hall. He spent the early years before later moving to Columbus, Georgia. He was a graduate of Jordan High School in Columbus. Following graduation, Jesse served in the United States Army for three years at Paratrooper. After his military service, he worked for the Sunshine Biscuits in Columbus for 12 years, before moving back to Geneva County where he then worked as a carpenter. Jesse began a career with the State of Alabama working for 25 years before his retirement. In his later years, Jessie enjoyed farming row crops. He was a member of Malvern Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his two sisters and one brother; his son, Gary Hall; and his daughter, Wynona Driskell.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Beverly Clark Hall; daughter-in-law, Barbara Hall; five grandchildren, Anna Marie Driskell Copeland, Michael Driskell, Garrett Hall (Caroline), Bart Tillman Hall (Anna Brooke), and Jarred Hall (Kesli); and three great-grandchildren, Raylee Hall, Madison Hall, Brooks Hall, and one on the way.
