John Frank was born on November 20, 1954 at Lakeside Hospital in DeFuniak Springs, FL to the late Adoffious “Adolph” and Earline Pryor Ward. His elementary school years were at Darlington School and he graduated from Walton High School in DeFuniak Springs, FL in 1972. John Frank was an intelligent thinking man who wore many different hats. He worked with his dad on the farm, in the family monument business at Ward Memorial Company, heavy equipment operator with Walton Co. Public Works, tinkering with Black Cloud Enterprises, planting pine trees and building fences. He loved collecting scrap metal and taking it to the junk yard and collecting him some money. You could say that he was truly a “jack of all trades”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother of 50 years, Mildred Gay Ward, maternal grandparents, Frank and Jane Pryor, paternal grandparents, John and Lena Ward; uncles, Terell Pryor, Loyce, Daniel, and David Ward; aunts, Nellie Pryor and Bobbie Jean Burkett and a special cousin, Jr. Pryor.

John Frank is survived by his cousins, Ted, Margaret, Sandra, Colleen, Jimmy, Steven, Jane, Jean, Jamie, Diane, and several more cousins, many special friends and acquaintances.

The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Florala Health and Rehab “Memory Lane” for the special love and care given to John Frank.
