Mr. Johnnie Hugh Miller, age 75, a resident of Columbia passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Wilson Hospice House in Albany, GA after a long illness.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Kinsey, Alabama with Glover Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
Mr. Johnnie was born on May 4, 1949 to Angus Louis Miller and Eunice Flora Register Miller in Dothan. He worked as a Warehouse Technician with Procter & Gamble in Albany, GA for several years and retired in 2014. Mr. Johnnie enjoyed hunting and guns. He attended Berean Baptist Church in Dothan.
Mr. Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kimberly Rose Miller; brother, Victor Eugene Miller; sister, Hazel Anette Lawrence; grandson, David Andrew Newell II.
Survivors include his wife of fifty one years, Monika L. Miller of Columbia; son, Johnnie Hugh Miller Jr., of Leesburg; daughters, Kristie Marie Long (David) of West Virginia, Kerrie McWaters (Michael) of Leesburg; brother, Angus Louis Miller; sister, Diana Lynn Croft; grandchildren, Amber Nicole Newell, Austin Lawrence Bird, Dustin Lewis Bird, Ka’Lynn Alexis Bird, Haley Paige Bouthe, Hugo Alberto Perez II; great grandchildren, Klairity Adora Rose Brown, Hunter Gage Hall, Neveah Paige Bird.
