Judy Baker Riley, 78, a lifelong resident of Clio, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was born on August 1, 1947. Judy never met a stranger and always had a knack for making people smile and laugh.

Judy proudly served her Clio community as a member of the City Council and later as mayor. She loved Jesus and was a faithful member of Rhema Baptist Church in Blue Springs. She was a 1966 graduate of Barbour County High School and carried her love for her hometown throughout her life.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lataine Baker, and her sister, Gina Berry.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Earl Riley; daughter, Kelly Cannon of Clio; sons, Cory Riley (Rachel) of Brundidge and Phillip Riley (Nichole) of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Madeline, Hayden, Christian, Caylin, and Ethan; eight nieces and nephews; and countless friends whose lives she touched.

The family will receive friends on January 30th from 11am-1pm at the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Clio.

The family will hold a private celebration of life in Judy’s honor at a later date.
