Julia Anne “Judy” Morris Cochran of Geneva, AL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 80 years old.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 28, 20225 at 2:00 p.m. at Devco Baptist Church with Rev. Olan Strickland officiating. Private graveside services will follow in Hartford City Cemetery, for her children and grandchildren only, with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Judy was born in Covington County, AL on November 05, 1945 to the late Paul David and Wilie Clyde Adcock Morris. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, who cared for her home and family. She was a faithful member of Devco Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil Edward “Buddy” Cochran, Jr.; siblings, Barbara Salverson, Pete Morris, David Morris, Cheryl Morris Irish, Jim Morris and Tim Morris.

Judy is survived by two daughters, Sherry Seibenhener of Auburn, AL and Terri Whatley (Steven) of Troy, AL; one son, Cecil Cochran, III of Geneva, AL; three granddaughters, Rachel Shelton (Justin) of Auburn, AL, Brandi Logsdon (Jonathan of Geneva, AL and Casey Youngblood (Seth) of Hartford, AL; six great grandchildren, Jacob Cochran-Cline, Hunter Logsdon, Jaxson Peeks, Braelynn Youngblood, Aubree Youngblood, and Sutton Jaymes Shelton; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Morris and Viki Morris; one sister, Sharlene Andrade and one brother, Ken Morris; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Whatley, Jonathan Logsdon, Justin Shelton, Seth Youngblood, Dylan Easterling and Colby Easterling.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cecil Cochran, III, Jacob Cochran-Cline, Hunter Logsdon and Jaxson Peeks.

The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Southeast Alabama Home Care, Gentiva Hospice, Dr. Kurt Kraft, Dani Laird, Dr. David Gayle and Heather Easterling for their care of Mom/Grandma.
