Kate Nell Fellows Parker, a resident of Avon, Alabama died Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Courtyard Healthcare Center in Marianna, Florida. She was 95 years old.

Graveside services for Mrs. Parker will be held at 1 PM Friday, January 9, 2026 at Bluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother James Bell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bluff Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Parker was born August 9, 1930 to the late Burl and Lodie Shelton Fellows and was a lifelong resident of Avon. She graduated from Ashford High School and went to work as a Teller for Farmers & Merchant Bank, now Peoples South, and later worked for Dothan Bank and Trust. Mrs. Parker was a family-oriented person who was an efficient homemaker and an excellent cook. She was a lifetime member of Bluff Springs Baptist.

Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Odell Parker; son, Allen Parker; and six sisters, Frances Martin, Ruby Knight, Nettie Evans, Burl Coleman, Estella Kirby, and Josie Henderson.

Survivors include her son, R. Wayne Parker (Theresa); grandchildren, Kristin Walters and her husband, Josh and their family, Aldridge, Parker Walters, Gracie and Darby ;Brittnie Butler, her husband Rhett and their family, Miles, Rilan, Parker Butler and Brantley, Kimberly Allen and her husband, Jarrett and their family, Annistyn and Ansleigh.
