NEWTON, ALABAMA. . .Lanae Allen passed into the loving arms of God on March 24, 2026, in Noland Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. She was 55.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

Lanae Allen was born in Eufaula, Alabama and grew up in Georgia. A life-long student and an avid reader, she received a Masters Degree in Psychology from West Georgia University and a Masters Degree of Business from the University of Phoenix. She lived all over the world including Georgia, Anchorage, Alaska, and Brussels, Belgium.
She held numerous positions in her life, including being a social worker that assisted troubled children, genealogy, and insurance. She was passionate at helping all in need, especially children and animals. One of her greatest joys was being a loving foster parent.
She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny, her brother, Joel, and her grandparents Jesse and Ethelda.
She is survived by her mother, Skye, her sons, Jesse and Bryce, her brothers and sisters, Keith, Johnathon, Lisa, and Laura, her grandmother, Opal, her sister-in-law, Jenna, and daughter-in-law, Emily. She was also blessed to have numerous amazing friends that supported and cared for her.
She was loved by all and will be remembered for being a shining light in her community. She made friends everywhere she went from all walks of life. A lover of plants and animals, Lanae will always be remembered for fostering cats, dogs, and all God’s creatures.
