HEADLAND. . .Laura “Lolo” Feldhauser Kennedy, a resident of Lakeside Trailer Park at Hardridge Creek, Lake Eufaula, formerly of the Blackwood Community, near Headland, passed away Wednesday morning, May 14, 2025, at the home of her son. She was 69.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Friday, May 16, 2025, in the Blackwood Cemetery with her son, John Espy Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends at Holman-Headland Mortuary from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M Friday. Holman-Headland & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

Serving as pallbearers will be, James McMillian, Sammy Popwell, Dewayne Kennedy, Seth Goree, Dan Murphy and Todd Anderson.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to SouthernCare Hospice, 2576 Montgomery Highway, Suite 2, Dothan, AL 36303 or Blackwood Church, 429 County Road 44, Headland, AL 36345.

Mrs. Kennedy was born in Michigan. She lived in the Blackwood Community before moving to Hardridge Creek in Henry County in 2021. Mrs. Kennedy formerly owned and operated Lolo’s Mini Mart in Dothan. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tara Lynn Miller, her father, Jack Feldhauser, her mother, Dorothy McGillis LaMarre, her step-father, A. J. LaMarre, and a brother, Curt Feldhauser.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Theophilus Kennedy; a son, John Espy Kennedy (Ramona), Headland; a sister, Gayle Dawson (Steve);  grandchildren, Gracie Kennedy and Samantha Kennedy.

The family would like to express their appreciation to SouthernCare Hospice for the loving care and kindness shown to Mrs. Kennedy during her illness.
