Lela June Palmer passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Westside Terrace in Dothan, Alabama. She was 84 years old.
She was born on June 4, 1940 and raised in Emmett, Idaho where she met her late husband of 52 years, James Palmer.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dolly Wright Harlow; son, Michael Palmer; and sisters, Eleanor Farrar and Edna Caldwell.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Slocomb with Rev. Wayne Parker officiating and Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelly Palmer Tittsworth and husband Bill Tittsworth, Jr.; stepson, David Palmer; stepdaughter, Toby Palmer; grandchildren, Erin Tittsworth, Taylor Palmer, and Natasha Palmer; sisters, Doris Reeser and Phyllis Nevers.
