Mr. LeRoy Lambert, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, died Sunday, February 22, 2026, at The Reserve in Fort Gaines, Georgia. He was 84 years old.
LeRoy was born on March 17, 1941, in Corning, Arkansas, to the late Albert Clifton and Goldie Becky (Counts) Lambert. He worked for Hastings Manufacturing in Hastings, Michigan until his retirement in 1992. LeRoy was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge in Michigan. He loved music and played lead guitar and sang lead vocals in a country band. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and five siblings, Buddy, Esther, Evelyn, Nona, LueDean, and Sharlet.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his loving wife of 63 years, Patricia Ann (Ogden) Lambert; son, Kerry Lambert (Nancy) of Enterprise; two daughters, Brenda Scobey (Spencer) of Abbeville and Linda Hataway (Wade) of Enterprise; two brothers, Gene Lambert (Donna) of Abbeville and Larry Lambert (Gloria) of Marion, Michigan; four grandchildren, Christopher Lambert, Curtis Lambert, Emily Philley (Brian), and Mason Hataway; six great-grandchildren, Caden, Ashton, Palmer, Logan, Landon, and Owen.
