DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Two mobile homes caught fire in Dothan Monday evening, and a local hero sprung into action to save the families inside.
Crews from the Taylor volunteer Fire Department, Rehobeth Fire Department, and Houston County Sheriff’s Office got the call at 6:56 p.m. Monday evening. They arrived to the trailer park off of Buttler Road to find flames spreading from one home, to it’s neighbor.
Crews were able to get the flames under control, but before they arrived another neighbor spotted the blaze and prevented what could have been a worse case scenario.
