No foolin’ — the weather today will be much better than yesterday.

Early morning fog will clear into a beautiful, and warm Spring day. By midmorning fog will lift into a mix of sun and clouds. By midday, plenty of sunshine will push temperatures above 80 degrees, so look for a warm  and sunny afternoon.

Tonight skies will clear, but very warm temperatures and plenty of moisture in the air and on the ground will rise into another foggy morning on Wednesday.

Tomorrow will be a perfect weather day with warming temperatures and bright sunshine.

We may not hit 90 degrees this week, but temps will be close. So warm sunny weather through the week, until next Sunday when more Spring storms may blow into south Alabama.

Quickly, back to yesterday, fast moving weather systems often arrive with a blast of high winds just before the downpour.  That’s what happened Monday, the squall line, or storm front, was racing into Dothan with a shove from high winds that peeled back metal roofs, littered the area with limbs, leaves and debris, and swamped city streets with ankle deep waters that storm drains couldn’t handle.

Note the azaleas knocked from their bushes after the storm.
