Lula Louise Weeks McCollough of Samson, AL passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was 85 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025, at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with her son-in-law, David Zorn officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Louise was born in Coffee County, AL on November 3, 1939, to the late Leamon and Lizzie Sumblin Weeks. Mrs. McCollough was a faithful member of New Prospect Baptist Church for over 50 years. She served many years as the pianist, Sunday School Teacher, and anywhere else in the church that was needed to help serve the Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen McCollough; two brothers, Bill Weeks, and Charles Weeks; two sisters, Annette Spears, and Betty Weeks

She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Zorn (David), Janet Howell (Keith), and Cindy Branch (Jeff); grandchildren, Paige Fountain (Heath), Kayla Free (Gavin), Hayley Miller (Ryan), Cassidy Anthony (Nathan), and Jacob Branch; great-grandchildren, Griffin and Alli Kate Fountain, Finn and Kash Free, and Grayson Miller; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
