Malcom F. Walker, Jr., a resident of Dothan, Alabama died on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, September 5, 2025 in Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Brigham officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 3:00PM until 4:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his honor to Respite Care Ministry, First United Methodist Church, 1380 West Main Street, Dothan, Alabama 36301.

Malcom was born to the late Malcom and Esther Raybon Walker in Dothan, Alabama on February 21, 1945. After earning his degree from Chipola Junior College in Marianna, Florida, he began a career in the drapery industry. He was the owner and operator of Walker Drapery Service for forty-one years until his retirement in 2018. He married the love of his life, Mary Martha Walker, for fifty-six years. He enjoyed taking long trips with friends, his fondest trip was going to the Ark in Williamstown, Kentucky. Making lasting memories with his family was his ultimate joy, especially watching his grandchildren at sporting events. His hobbies include playing golf, softball, watching any type of sporting event, and cheering on his beloved Crimson Tide in the fall. “Roll Tide!” He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of Baysprings Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Malcom is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary Martha Walker; son, Eric Walker (Jennifer); daughter, Mariann Fraedrich (Nicholas); brother, Tim Walker (Sherryl); five grandchildren, Tiffany Walker, Tyler Walker, Brooke Fraedrich, Dalton Fraedrich, Greyson Fraedrich; numerous cousins, nieces, and many friends.

The family would like to thank Day Spring hospice for the extraordinary care and love they shown to Malcom and his family.
