Ms. Margaret Ragan, of Geneva, Alabama passed away Friday, January 23, 2026. She was 81.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date by her family.
Margaret was born August 03, 1944 to the late Eddie Lee and Lillian Joiner Ragan. Margaret was affectionately known by her friends as “Maggie”. She and her friends enjoyed two things in life, traveling and going antique shopping. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by one brother, James William “Jimmy” Ragan.
Margaret is survived by her children, Joseph Dalton Cotton and Adrienne Melissa Ellenburg, both of Geneva, AL; three grandchildren, Courtney Meeks of Killeen, TX, Michael Tanner Meeks of Coeur d’ Alene, ID and Joby Reed McLaney of Geneva, AL; one great grandson on the way and one brother, Eddie Lee Ragan (Betty Jo) of Camilla, GA.
