Martha “Sue” (Conrad) Traylor

Martha “Sue” (Conrad) Traylor, 81, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Harpers Joy Assembly of God Church with Reverend Eddie Littlefield officiating. Burial followed at Madrid Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home of Dothan directing. The family received friends at the church from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m., prior to the service.

Martha “Sue” Traylor, also known as “Granny” by those who loved her dearly, was born on June 30, 1943. Sue loved her Savior Jesus Christ more than anything in this world, and her faith in Christ defined who she was as a person and how she lived her life. Second to her love for Jesus, was her family. Melissa Cureton and Teresa Medley were immensely blessed to have Sue as their mother. As a loving grandmother, Sue enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her love, John Patrick Traylor. Sue is survived by her daughters, Melissa Cureton (Roger), and Teresa Medley (Richard); three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: Brandon Cureton (Ana, John Robert, & Bowie), Kala Martin (Josh, Eli, & Ellis), and Colton Cureton (Catherine & Charlotte).

Serving as pallbearers will be Colton Cureton, Brandon Cureton, Josh Martin, Ricky Jenkins, John Clark, and Nick Ledford.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her Sunday School Class from Harpers Joy Assembly of God.
