MIDLAND CITY. . .Marvin Douglas “Doug” Quincey, a resident of Midland City, died at midnight, May 2, 2025, in the Extendicare Health & Rehabilitation Center in Dothan. He was 55.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the Mt. Enon Baptist Church, near Midland City, with Reverend Matthew Quincey and Jason Quincey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Doug Quincey was born in Williston, Florida and moved with his family to Dale County, near Midland City, as a teenager. He was a 1987 graduate of Dale County High School. Doug was formerly employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator in agriculture and Vaughn-Blumberg Center in Dothan. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Allen Quincey.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Megan Quincey, Ozark; his parents, Reverend Danny and Barbara Quincey, Midland City; brothers, Dan Quincey (Jackie), Ozark; Jason Quincey (Kerry), Clayhatchee, AL; and Reverend Matthew Quincey (Stephanie), Newville; a granddaughter, Skylar Quincey.
