Marvin Wayne Mainor, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula. He was 75 years old.
A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in the chapel of Glover Funeral Home in Eufaula from 5:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks for trees to be planted in memory of Mr. Wayne.
Wayne was born on May 17, 1949, in Edison, Georgia, to the late Marshall Warren Mainor and Annie Lee Edwards Mainor. He owned and operated Wayne’s Tree Service for over 35 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, raising chickens but loved all animals, and was known as a true outdoorsman.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Walter W. Mainor.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Glenda Faye Tomblin Mainor; son, Anthony W. “Tony” Mainor (Joanie) of Eufaula; daughter, Marsha Anne Anderson (Donnie) of Eufaula; two brothers, James Mainor (Fern) of Jessup, Georgia and Martin Mainor of Manchester, Georgia; three sisters, Nancy Wilson (Redd) of Georgetown, Georgia, Joyce Trull (Johnny) of Albany, Georgia, and Barbara Massingill of Valdosta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Emily Anne Wurst (Hunter) of Eufaula, Katelyn Griffin (Daniel) of Eufaula, and Cody Leonard; one great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Peggy Mainor of Albany, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
