SHORTERVILLE. . .Melinda Partin Cisco, a resident of Shorterville, passed away Monday afternoon, June 1, 2026. She was 60.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 5, 2026, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Randy Stokes officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the mortuary in Abbeville
Melinda Cisco was born in Easley, South Carolina and was raised in Hazlehurst, Georgia. She lived in Citra, Florida before moving to Hardridge Creek on Lake Eufaula in 2009 and later to Shorterville in 2025. In earlier years, Melinda was self employed as a concrete finisher. She was a member of Chester Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Melinda was preceded in death by her husband, Ashley Lamar Cisco and her father, Robert C. Partin.
Surviving relatives include her daughters, Annie Walls (Curtis Jones), Shorterville; Christina Cummings (Kenny), Ft. Myers, FL; Tabatha Merritt (Adam), Slocomb; and Julia Cisco, Hazlehurst, GA; sons, Ashley L. Cisco, III (Lisa), Keystone Heights, FL; and Robert Cisco, Gainesville, FL; her mother, Hazel Kersey Partin, Abbeville; a brother, Dewey Partin (Casey), Douglas, GA; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
