Michael Alan Cobb
Michael Alan Cobb, 66, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Born on August 15, 1959, to Bobby Greene Cobb and the late Sue Pitts Cobb, Michael was a lifelong resident of Dothan. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and generosity.
Michael was a 1977 graduate of Houston Academy and recently retired as owner of O’Neal McMurphy, Inc. Although he had many business ventures, the one he loved most was working alongside his family at the Cobb tree farm and sawmill. He found great satisfaction in his work, helping others, and spending time outdoors on his sailboat.
Above all, Michael cherished his friends and family, and his greatest joy came from the time he spent with those he loved. He treasured every moment he was able to spend with his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Smith Cobb; his father, Bobby Greene Cobb; his daughter, Mikael Holzhauer (Hunter); his son, Zachary Cobb; and his treasured grandchildren, Carr, Nora, Rhine, Bo and Holzhauer.
Michael will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous spirit, and deep love for his family. His legacy of hard work and kindness will continue to live on in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be announced by the family soon.
