ABBEVILLE. . .Mickey W. Skeen, a resident of Abbeville, passed away Monday night, February 23, 2026, at his home. He was 69.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 26, 2026, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Wayne Russell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary in Abbeville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Mickey Skeen was born and raised in Henry County, son of the late Legon Littleton Skeen and Willie Mae Smith Skeen. He lived in the Abbeville area most of his adult lifetime before moving to Thomas Mill Creek on Lake Eufaula seventeen years ago. Mickey was of the Baptist faith. He was retired as a Salesman from Money Motors in Abbeville after forty-eight years employment. Mickey was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Skeen Hamm and two brothers, Terry Skeen and Jerry Skeen.
Surviving relatives include a son, Skyler D. Skeen (Cyntheia Solorio), Abbeville; a granddaughter, Laiken Skeen; four sisters, Peggy Herring, Abbeville; Ann Walker, South Carolina; Martha Dunagan, Cullman, AL; and Rosa McCoy (Tommy), Abbeville; sisters-in-law, Martha Skeen and Phyllis Barfield Skeen; several nieces and nephews.
