Missy Jo Miller of Elba, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Flowers Hospital. She was 57 years old.
Missy was born on May 2, 1968 in Louisa, Kentucky. A true homebody, Missy found contentment in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed sitting outside and listening to old country music.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rebecca Miller; mother, Frances Vickers; and husband, Early Cardwell.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Survivors include her children, Renee Stroud of Opp, Dennis Cardwell (Wanda) of Level Plains, and Jackie Jones (Jeremy) of Coffee Springs; grandchildren, Chy’ann Vest, Kaleigh Vest, Emma-Lee Cardwell, Wyatt Cardwell, Brayden Dean, MacKenzie Jones, and Liam Jones; and partner, Eugene Ward.
