WEBB… Mollie Cooper Hayes, a resident of Webb, Alabama, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, at her home. She was 85.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2026, at Center Baptist Church in Webb, Alabama, with Reverend John Holley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Hayes was born in Laurinburg, North Carolina to the late William Alfred Cooper and Mary Spry Cooper. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked in the medical field her entire life. She had previously lived in Hartford, AL, Malvern, AL, Slocomb, AL, and Ashford, AL, before moving to Webb, AL six years ago. She was an active member of the Center Baptist Church in Webb, Alabama.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her Life Partner, Ronald P Carlton; her daughter, Belinda Hunsucker; her son, Richard Coble; her brother, Zeb Cooper; her eight grandchildren; her fourteen great-grandchildren; and her two great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Larry Forrester, Steve Littlefield, Mark Nelson, Jacob Ard, Kyle Mosley, David Mosley, Dylan Littlefield, and Matt McCraney.
