Monica Nicole Harden McLaney, a resident of Georgetown, Georgia unexpectedly passed away Friday, January 17, 2025. She was 37 years old.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm central time in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula with Pastor Bill Sanders officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted.
Monica was born July 7, 1987, in Warner Robins, Georgia to Jeffrey Nathan Harden and Terry Lynn Young. She was a graduate of Crisp County High School and currently worked in management at Piggly Wiggly in Eufaula. In her spare time, she enjoyed mechanical work, carpentry, singing karaoke, magnet fishing, and arts and crafts. She attended New Harvest Church in Georgetown, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Nathan Harden and mother-in-law, Miriam Mimi McLaney.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 14 years, Jospeh Michael McLaney; mother, Terry Lynn Young Everett; daughter, Taylor Harden (Branum Thomas); step-daughter, Tesa Sauls; three brothers, Shawn Amerson (Rhonda), Travis Young (Dorie), and Dillon Harden; two sisters, Georgia Cook and Amber Nichols; two step-grandchildren, Carson Sauls and Heavenly Sauls; father-in-law, Joe McLaney; several nieces and nephews.
Asked to serve as pallbearers are Walter Williamson, Davis Ray Roberts, Danny Rhodes, Phillip Stewart, David Fuller, James Robinson, and Shawn Amerson.
