HOUSTON COUNTY  4:30 PM

After thunderous downpours mid-morning, new rounds of storms are blowing across the Wiregrass this afternoon. The Monday afternoon rains are pushing heavy rains and frequent lightening into south Alabama.

Just after 4 o’clock  the leading edge of rains was making it across Ashford and southern Houston County and is  pressing on east. So look out south Georgia.

Future radars indicate at least one more large area of storms will follow on the heels of these rains. That third of the day storm line is expected in a few hours, and forecasts predict possible rains on in through the night
