Mr. Earnest “Dow” Daline Weeks, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at his home.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Avon, with Reverend Greg Weeks officiating, and Glover Funeral Home of Dothan directing. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 1:00pm in the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 1435 West Main Street, Dothan, Alabama 36301.
Mr. Weeks was born in Grand Ridge, Florida to the late Miller and Mary Lois Hobbs Weeks on May 18, 1935. He grew up in Greensboro, Florida. He had various jobs as a truck driver and security guard, and his most enjoyable job was working at Wesley Manor for fifteen years as a nursing assistant. He enjoyed watching wrestling.
Mr. Weeks is preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Pearl Lee Weeks, Dothan; sister, Rochelle Bauldree (Jimmy), Quincy, Florida; three brothers-in-law, Harold McCracken (Mary), Gainesville, Florida, Jimmy McCracken, Dothan, Gene McCracken, Bristol, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Birtha Furches, Leola, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews.
