Mr. Harris Lambert, a resident of Georgetown, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at his residence. He was 80 years old.
Per his wishes there will not be any services.
Harris was born on January 26, 1946, in Bluefield, West Virginia, to the late William Hemdon and Martha (Milam) Lambert. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army where he served his country for over 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and yardwork, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW and Clay Hill Outdoor Ministry.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Lambert and Richard Lambert; two sisters, Sadie Lane and Kathy Ross.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his loving wife of 60 years, Meta (Kotzott) Lambert; two sons, William Stephen Lambert and Corry James Lambert (Nicole); daughter, Cynthia Johnson (Christopher); two brothers, Harry Lambert (Helen) and Donald Lambert (Lee); two sisters, Phyllis Lambert and Jane Taylor; seven grandchildren, Christy Neff, Tiffany Lambert, Allysa TeCulver, Steven Lambert, Christopher Johnson, II., Ryah Lambert, and Marcus Lambert; nine great-grandchildren.
