Johnny Milton Olive, a resident of Dothan died Monday, June 23, 2025 at his home. He was 89.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Mt Olive Baptist Church, 6045 FL–2 Bascom, Florida 32423 with Reverend Tim Willis officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 1207 Fortner Street, Dothan, AL 36301.

Johnny was born March 16, 1936 in Bascom, Florida to the late Henry Hilton and Eula Culverhouse Olive. He was a graduate of Malone High School, a veteran of the United States Army and worked for NCR for 38 years retiring as a Regional Manager. Johnny was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist where he worked tirelessly on the Hospitality Committee and helping anyone in need that needed help. He especially enjoyed being back on the family farm, working in Bascom, Florida.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Robbie Jean Olive; sister, Frances Robinson; brothers, Clinton, Hilton and Charles Olive.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Olive; children, Mike Olive (Vicki), Angie Clark (Buddy), Pat Waller (Stan) and Mark Olive (Shelly); grandchildren, Brennan Olive (Abby), Braden Olive (Marguerite), Brooks Olive, Lily Waller, Parker Olive and Maci Olive; great grandchildren, Elsie and Tullis; sister, Sarah Fitch,  step children, Carl Crozier (Stacy), Ronnie Crozier(Laurie) and Alison Bright.

 

The family wishes to thank Gentiva Hospice for their love and care during this time, Shelly, Carolyn, Mark and Brother Eddie. A special thanks to his caregiver Teresa Brannon.
