Jordan was born June 2, 1986, to Jim and Janice McDonald Cook. While Jordan was blessed to have a twin brother, Jarrod, whom he was very close with, he also loved his entire family. He also had a special love for his Lord and Savior with his favorite scripture being “His Love endures forever”. Jordan was a member of the Restoration Gathering Church. He graduated from Dabbs Vocational School in 2005. He was a puzzle genius, and his favorite was the difficult thousand piece ones. He enjoyed bowling, of which he was very competitive. With his mother Janice being an Art teacher, he developed a natural love for Art. Some of his other favorites was cooking breakfast and taking 10-minute showers every night.
Jordan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Archie and Mary Evelyn McDonald of Dothan, Paternal grandparents, Jim and Peggy Cook of Birmingham as well as other relatives.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Janice Cook, twin brother, Jarrod, his sister, Julie Aderhold, brother, Jeremy Cook, his aunt and uncle, Annice (twin to Janice) and her husband Joel Sorrells, cousin Joanna Huddleston and her husband Robert, several loving nieces and nephews and other extended relatives.
Jordan would want you to know that “Life is short—make it count, Be kind and KNOW JESUS”
