Mr. Kenneth Wayne Garney I of Geneva, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at his residence. He was 67 years old. Born on May 25, 1958 in Defuniak Springs, Florida. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and working on cars and trucks.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Ray Garney and brother, Stephen Garney.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Charles King officiating and Shelby Lett directing. The family will begin receiving friends at 12:00 p.m. until service time, at the funeral home.
Survivors include his mother, Elouise Garney of Geneva; children, Wayne Garney (Hannah) of Colquitt, Georgia and Ashley Garney of Bainbridge, Georgia; grandchildren, Preston Garney, Audrey Garney, Timothy Gibson, Ryleigh Gibson, and Skyler Gibson; wife, Wanda Garney of Mayhaw, Georgia; siblings, Janet Calloway of Geneva, Susie Simpler (Roy) of Defuniak Springs, Florida, Wanda McMillian of Bonifay, Florida; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
