Mr. LaDon “Donnie” Robinson, age 82, a resident of Clio, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Flowers Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Calvary Church in Clio with Dr. Randy Adams and Pastor Henry Reynolds officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the Pea River Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the church.

Mr. Donnie was born in Barbour County, Alabama on December 18, 1943 to the late William Robinson and Mary Elizabeth Arnold Robinson. He grew up in Clio, and married the love of his life, Charlotte Hall, on December 18, 1970 and together they made a family of their own. Mr. Donnie was a mechanic for the State of Alabama for forty years. He enjoyed mechanic work and gardening. He spent most of his time tinkering with things out in the yard. He could make something out of anything. Mr. Donnie was a hard-working man, but most of all he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of fifty five years, Charlotte Robinson; son, Chad Robinson (Courtney Bass) of Midland City; two daughters, Cheri Murphy (Duke) of Clio and Chandra Robinson (Geoff Whittingon) of Elba; special daughter, Tricia Turvin of Dothan; one brother, James Robinson of Clio; five grandchildren, Bryce Sawyer (Gwen), Dalton Murphy, Linkoln Robinson, Brianna Murphy, and Alyssa Wood; nephew, Gary Robinson; niece, Stacey Bunn; many great nieces and nephews, and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Toby Bragg, Brent Walker, Duke Murphy, Bryce Sawyer, Dalton Murphy, Linkoln Robinson, and Gary Robinson.
