Phillip H. Herring, 69, of Cottonwood, Alabama passed away Sunday morning surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Union Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Kyle Johnson officiating. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10AM to 11AM at the church.
Phillip was born to the late Woodrow Wilson Sr. and Willie Othel Danford Herring on June 1, 1955, in Dothan, Alabama. He was a 1973 graduate of Cottonwood High School. There is no one that loved their family and home as much as he did.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Woodrow Herring Jr and a sister, Angie Herring.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of fifty years, Dianne Herring; a son, Brent Herring (Joy); a grandson, Eli Herring; a granddaughter, Brooke Raybon (Triston); three great-grandchildren, Axel, Kyngsleigh, and Kayne; a brother; Ronnie Herring (Belinda); a sister, Phyllis Jenkins (Brent) along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
