Mr. Willis Broyles (U.S. Navy Retired Petty Chief Officer), age 82, resident of Dothan passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at his home.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday March 9, 2025 at Piney Grove Methodist Church with Mr. Keith White officiating and U.S. Navy Honors.
The family will be receiving friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 P.M. Sunday prior to services at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Piney Grove Methodist Church, 21 Piney Grove Road, Dothan, Al. 36301,
Mr. Broyles was born in Newcomb, Tennessee on July 19, 1942 to his parents, Milford Kenneth Broyles and Rosa Marie Brooks Broyles. He was a retired a Senior Chief Petty Officer (E8) of the U.S. Navy after twenty-two years of dedicated service. After Willis’ retirement in the Navy, he worked at Farley Nuclear Plant as a Procedure Writer for seventeen years. He attended Piney Grove Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gordon Broyles; two sisters; three brothers.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Dottie J. Broyles of Dothan; son, Kevin R. Broyles (Susan) of Dothan; five brothers; one sister; two granddaughters, Rachel and Makayla Broyles, both of Dothan; several nieces and nephews.
