Mrs. Carole Elizabeth Tarleton Beaty, age 84, a resident of Louisville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026 at Flowers Hospital.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026, in the Louisville Cemetery with Reverend Mike Whitman officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers and food, memorial contributions may be made to Louisville Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 125, Louisville, Alabama, 36048.
Mrs. Carole Beaty was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 5, 1942, to the late Leroy and Elizabeth Pilgreen Tarleton. She was a graduate of the Robert E. Lee High School class of 1960. Later, she married Theatus Beaty and they started a family of their own in Louisville. Mrs. Carole was always involved in the community and her children’s lives. She was a member of the Dixie Parent Association and the Women Involved in Farm Economics. Mrs. Carole loved cats and dogs. She enjoyed reading and cooking; she often made warm meals and had many Dixie students gathered around her dinner table. She was a member of the Louisville Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by parents; her husband, Theatus Rawdon Beaty and sister, Peggy Tarleton.
Survivors include her sons, Christopher Beaty of Dothan and Tarleton Beaty of Louisville; daughter, Detra Sneed (Buddy) of Louisville; brother, Murray Tarleton of Montgomery; six grandchildren, Courtney Fleischmann (Brian), Colby Spivey (Delane), Camryn Sneed, Ella Kate Beaty, Talan Beaty, Darby Beaty; four great grandchildren, Austin Fleischmann, Nathan Fleischmann, Elizabeth Spivey, and James Spivey.
Serving as pallbearers will be Delane Spivey, Lane Carpenter, Trip Horne, Matt Horne, Mark Andrews, and Webb Boyd.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Sneed, Keith Shirah and Billy Wayne Clark.
