Mrs. Elizabeth McCardle Clark, a resident of Southern Junction Community on Highway 109, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Chipola Health & Rehab in Marianna, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Memphis Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Tate and Rev. Billy Rich officiating. Burial will follow in the New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025 prior to the services at the church.

Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Elizabeth Clark was born on February 21, 1943 in Cottonwood to Ben Hasten and Malissie Watson McCardle. She grew up in Cottonwood and graduated from Cottonwood High School. After graduating high school, she worked in the banking industry for several years in Dothan and later in Ft. Rucker. She later became the co-owner of Clarks Grocery with her husband. She was a homemaker most of her adult lifetime.

Mrs. Elizabeth Clark is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Dean Clark; son, Johnny Wayne Clark; and brother, Hasten McCardle.

Survivors include her sister in law, Edna McCardle Harrell (Ron) of Cottonwood; nephew, Stacy McCardle (Kim) of Cottonwood; nieces, Wendy Williams (David) and Kristy Lee (Heath), both of Cottonwood; three great nephews, Cody McCardle (Brianna), Ben McCardle (Brianna), Dylan McCardle; great nieces, Amanda Neumann, Kassidy Chandler (David), Jaylin Marchman (Tyler), Chloe Lee; great-great niece, Finnley Graham; great-great nephews, Theodore Marchman, Callan Marchman; and several cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody McCardle, Ben McCardle, Dylan McCardle, David Chandler, Bobby Camp, and Tyler Marchman.
