Funeral services for Mrs. Fulgham will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 6, 2026, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Kenneth Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Monday from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Serving as pallbearers will be Stihl Rodebaugh, Austin Tyler, Trey Fulgham, Coulter Fulgham, Brian Wynn and Brad Rice.
Mrs. Fulgham, the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Coulter and Hilda Lavada Huckaby Coulter, was born in Columbus, Georgia and raised in Phenix City, Alabama. She graduated from Central High School in Phenix City and later married her high school sweetheart in January 1961. She continued her education with a life career in Business Administration where she and her husbands careers brought them to Ozark in 1964 while raising their children and retiring from Army Aviation Federal Credit Union in 2006. Outside of her career, she lived a life full of simple joys. She loved her family and grandchildren to the fullest with a passion for flowers (and was known for having a green thumb), canning, riding horses, and fishing, all while listening to country and gospel music. Although she will be deeply missed, her love, wisdom and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her younger sister, Norma Jean Coulter and her beloved dog, Gretchen.
Surviving relatives include her beloved husband of 65 years, Jerry Fulgham; two daughters, Judy Rice (Dennis) and Beth Singletary (Jason); one son, Jay Fulgham; seven grandchildren, Brandy Wynn (Brian), Brad Rice (Tamika), Austin Tyler (Kendall), Trey Fulgham, Coulter Fulgham (Kayla), Stihl Rodebaugh and Liz Rodebaugh; five great grandchildren, Shaid Tyler, Annabelle Wynn, Blade Rice, Abby Rice and Matson Wynn; one sister, Ruth Bentley (Mike); three sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend heart-felt thanks to Community Hospice and her caregivers Berlinda Scott and Mary Lightner.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to the Arguta Community Center, 397 West County Road 72, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
