Kelly Lynn Smith Moore, age 66, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026.
A memorial service for Mrs. Moore will be held 4:00 P. M. Thursday, August 20, 2026, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Jason Waddell officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Born in Ozark, Alabama, on November 20, 1959, Kelly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was rooted in warm love, steady devotion, and an enduring appreciation for life’s simple beauty. For 48 wonderful years, Kelly shared her life with her beloved husband, Kenneth Moore. Together they built a home filled with joy, kindness, and deep family ties. Kelly’s family was her proudest achievement, and her greatest joy was found in spending time with those she cherished most—especially her grandchildren, Grant and Kathryn, who brought immense light to her life. Kelly had a vibrant heart that naturally drew people to her. She cherished her friendships, nurtured her family relationships with tenderness, and found happiness tending to her loved ones and her flowers. Just like the blooms she so dearly loved, Kelly brought color, warmth, and grace into every room she entered. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Jeanine Feroumont Smith, and her brother, Ricky Smith.
Kelly’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Moore; her son Ben Moore, and his wife April; her cherished grandchildren, Grant and Kathryn Moore. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly Canedo, her children Chad Holland, Cresent Anderson-Bone (Ben), and Victoria Canedo. Sister-in-law Pam Smith (Ricky), their children Shanna Maxwell (John) and Jonathan Smith (Chancy). Also, she is survived by her sister Michelle Reeder (Tim) with their children Wes Daniels, TJ Reeder (Kristy) and Austin Reeder (Lainey) along with a host of beloved great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Kelly will be remembered for her unconditional love, her lively spirit, and the beauty she cultivated in the world around her. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
