 Mrs. Sarah Nell Hysmith Weeks, a resident of Ozark, died Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Flowers Hospital. She was 75 years old.   A memorial service for Mrs. Weeks will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Debbie Self officiating. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mrs. Weeks was born May 8, 1950, in New Brockton, Alabama. She attended Charles Henderson High School.  Sarah worked as a cook in the deli of  Food Giant in Elba and with Post Exchange Service at Fort Rucker. She was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church in Ozark. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed fishing, trips to the beach and music.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kristy Bundrum; five sisters, Ester Bradshaw, Betty Hysmith, Jeanelle Hysmith, Earlene Brown and Paulene King; and one brother, Roscoe Hysmith.

Survivors include her husband, Derrell Portwood of Ozark; one daughter, Tasha Bowman (Dustin) of Troy; one son, Jerry Tallent of Ozark. Four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews also survive.
