Dorothy Dianne Vinson, age 65, of Dothan, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025.
Born September 10, 1960 in Dothan to the late Willie Frank McGlaun and Agnes Peacock McGlaun, Dianne enjoyed movies, especially drive-ins, with horror the genre she enjoyed the most. The movie Jaws was indicated by her family as her favorite of all time. She also enjoyed travelling to the beach but her most memorable moments were spent in the company of family and friends.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and an infant grandchild.
She is survived by her children, Eric Worley (Keisha) and Amy Brown (Chad); her grandchildren, Cason, Abbie Kate, and Veda; her great-grandchildren, Gracelynn and Jolie; her life partner, Gary Bowen; her sister, Brenda McGriff; and a host of other relatives and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2025 from the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Brother Doug McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
