David Alan Goodson

 

David Alan Goodson, age 60 of Madrid passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Southeast Health following an illness. 

 

David was born on November 14, 1960 in Florence, Alabama to Larry Robert Goodson and Margaret Elaine Perkins Goodson.

 

He enjoyed many different hobbies including carpentry, playing guitar, and being a sport car enthusiast.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family and loved ones.  He was a loving father and son.  He will be deeply missed. 

 

Survivors include his mother, Margaret Easterly; three daughters Mary Ashley Goodson, Annie Stephens, Lilly Stephens; one son, Gabe Stephens; one brother Mark Goodson; one sister Terri Henderson; one niece Londyn Goodson; two grandchildren Hayden Ford and Ava Ford.

 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021, 10 a.m. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. with graveside to follow weather permitting.
