A. Lamar Brooks, age 78, passed away, Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Dothan. Present and past Sunday School members are encouraged to sit together. Reserved seating will be available. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank.
Lamar was a Registered Pharmacist with a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration. He was also an avid golfer. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Dothan, where he taught a Sunday School for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Faye Brooks of Dothan; two sons, Russell Brooks (Nancy) of Dothan and Michael Brooks of Montgomery; two grandsons, Caleb and Josiah Brooks.
