Adrain Carroll Parris, a resident of Midland City, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at a local hospital. He was 78.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 1 pm at East Centre Baptist Church: 1220 East Main Street in Centre, Alabama.
The family requests that masks be worn until you are seated in the sanctuary.
Adrain was born on October 10, 1942 to Frank Lester Parris and Clara Francis Roberts Parris in Jacksonville, AL. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Adrain married the love of his life, Louise on April 14, 1968. His number one priority after loving the Lord was his precious wife. In his free time, he loved bass fishing at Lake Weiss where they lived in Cherokee, AL for 27 years. Adrain was a member of East Centre Baptist Church in Centre, AL and most recently, a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark, AL.
Adrain was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, R.G. Parris, Ray Parris and Milton Parris; and his sister, Jerrice Lusk.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 52 ½ years, Louise Parris; his daughter, Connie (Jeff) Freeman; his granddaughter, Stefany (Chris) Gray and their children, Callie, Leila, Macie and Boston Gray; his granddaughter, Hayley (Logan) Masley and their son, Hudson Masley; his siblings, Barbara (Mike) Bishop, Betty (Nelson) Mahaffey, Annette (Kyle) Black, Dorothy (Mark) Norman and Teresa (Charles) King; and several nieces and nephews.
