Alan Michael Keeven, 53, a resident of Dothan passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at his residence.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at St. Columba Church Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating.

Mr. Keeven was born August 17, 1961 in St. Louis, MO and lived there the early part of his life. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and lived in Hawaii for 18 years prior to moving to Dothan in 2000. He has been employed with Fairbanks Scales for the past 15 years as a technician. Alan was an avid fisherman and a member of St. Columba Catholic Church. He was proudly a Conservative American as well as a great story teller. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Keeven, and a brother Jerry Keeven.

Survivors include his wife Alverna Keeven; a son, Michael Keeven; a daughter, Jenifer Keeven; his mother, Mary Theresa Keeven; brothers, Richard Keeven and David Keeven; sisters, Marilyn Lynch, Gina Arnold, and Janet Brill.
