Albert C. Williams of Daleville passed away Saturday July 16, 2016 at his residence. He was 70 years old.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Military Honors and Masonic Rites will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd of Sunset Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born in Pennsylvania where he lived the early years of his life. He enlisted in the United States Army serving two combat tours in Vietnam and retired after 20 years of service. He was later employed in army aviation maintenance until his retirement in 2011. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6020, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter # 373, A Master Mason of Carmichael Lodge # 548, A 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, A Noble of Alcazar Shrine Temple, and Wiregrass Shrine Club where he served two terms as club president.

Survivors include his wife, Wiltrud Williams; his sons, Louis, Richard, and Robert; his daughter, Sandra Steele; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Louis Williams; his sister, Louise Williams; very special friends, Jerry Glenn, Ray and Joyce Matheson.
