ALBERT “COTTONTOP” ENFINGER
MIDLAND CITY, AL… Albert “Cottontop” Enfinger, a resident of Midland City, Alabama, passed away early Tuesday morning July 25, 2023, at his residence. He was 62.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday July 27, 2023, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Midland City Cemetery.
Cottontop Enfinger was born in Orlando, Florida to the late Junior Enfinger and Betty Jean Cook Enfinger. He moved to Midland City when he was one year old and attended Dale High School. He was employed as a carpenter by trade all his life. He spent many years working with Norman Wright and Buddy Wright in the construction industry. He loved football and was an avid Alabama fan. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his grandson Ivy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Shirley Enfinger.
Surviving relatives include his companion, Kay Ward; his son, Jordy Enfinger (Courtney Royal); his daughter, Amber Ward; his brother, Donald Avant (Mary Alford); his sister, Donnie Sue Carter (Cecil Carter); his grandson, Ivy Clements; his niece, Brandi Enfinger; other special cousins, family, and friends.
