Albert Hulon Todd, 82, a lifetime resident of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 19, 1940, in Dothan, to the late Alvey Todd and Ella (Benefield) Todd.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Monday, June 13, 2022, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time, the family will hold a private graveside service at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery later.
Hulon retired from Fleet Pride as a counter parts salesman. He was a deacon at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church for many years. Hulon was an Alabama fan, loved sports, and talking to his friends and family, but the thing he loved the most was being with his wife, whether it be shopping, dining, or just getting in the car and going for a ride. He loved the beauty of this world that God made.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Valeria Murphy and Erline Wilkins, brother, Verbin Todd.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Martha (Strickland) Todd, daughters, Tana Hamrick, and Sandy (Tim) Weadon, grandchildren, Philip Hamrick Lee Ella Weadon, great grandchildren, Bradley Hamrick, and Raylee Hamrick.
