Alberta Lynn Roberson, 85, a resident of Dothan passed away January 7, 2016 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held 12pm Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Patterson Street Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Harold McKissic, Sr. officiating. Graveside services will follow in Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Robert Byrd directing.

Mrs. Roberson was born August 4, 1930 in Geneva County and she lived the early years of her life there. She moved to Dothan in 1947 and was employed with Leon’s Dress Store and later with Wesley Manor until she retired in 1992. Mrs. Roberson enjoyed quilting and loved sharing her quilts with her family and the ones she loved. She was a member of Patterson Street Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Marshall Roberson, Jr., Danny (Rose) Roberson, William (Lisa) Roberson, Reginald (Myra) Roberson and Robert (Kathy) Roberson; her daughters, Angelean (Aubrey) Pryor and Sandra (Harry) Smith; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
