Alice Anne Barlar McGuire, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama. She was 61 years old.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 30, 2024, in the chapel of Glover Funeral Home in Eufaula, Alabama with Pastor Judy Britt officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Eufaula directing. The burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery Addition. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted.

Alice was born October 9, 1962, in Mobile, Alabama, the only child to the late Neville Eugene Barlar and Helen Henrietta Bryan Barlar. She was a 1980 graduate of Eufaula High School and later worked as an Assistant Manager in the retail industry. Alice loved her family and friends and enjoyed keeping up with their daily lives. Most of all Alice loved the Lord and attended Southside Community Church where she was a devote member.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Matthew McGuire and his wife, Bethany of Eufaula, Alabama; daughter, Kimberly Anderson and her husband, Cliff of Eufaula, Alabama; ten grandchildren, Trace Anderson, Ashlyn Luken and her husband, Baily, Carlie Anne Shirley, Brantley Anderson, Curt McGuire, Abby McGuire, Lana McGuire, Abigail Mackert, Spencer Mackert, and Andi Rey McGuire; great-grandchild, Atlas Hayes Luken.

Active pallbearers are Matt McGuire, Cliff Anderson, Curt McGuire, Trace Anderson, Brantley Anderson, and Spencer Mackert.

Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Emfinger. Rickey McGuire, and Mike Stevenson.
