Obituary: Mrs. Alice Cawley 

            Mrs. Alice Cawley of New Brockton passed away Saturday morning, April 14, 2012 at her residence. She was 63.

            Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, April 16, 2012 from the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Sam Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Consolation cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 until 4pm. 

              Mrs. Cawley was born January 20, 1949 in Coffee County to the late Bennie Tidwell and Gladys Wallace. She attended the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved sewing, working in her flowers and spending time with her 3 small dogs. Her husband, William L. Cawley and a brother, George Johnson preceded her in death.  

              Survivors include her son, Wayne Cawley (Rita), Enterprise, daughters: Patricia Copes (Sam), Enterprise, Laverne Hanna (John), Elba, Taresa Senn (Chris), Glenwood, AL, sisters: Bea Adams, Merle Norris both of Andalusia, Kathrine Wilkerson and JoAnn Easterling both of Ozark, brothers: Allen Tidwell, Earnest Tidwell and Wilburn Tidwell all of Samson, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, her 3 pets she loved, Dolly, Tennessee and Trouble, nieces and nephews.
