Alice Dishman, of Dothan, passed away Friday November 25, 2016 at a local hospital. She was 94.

Graveside services will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2pm-3pm on Wednesday.

Mrs. Dishman was born on October 30, 1922 in Anniston, Alabama. She lived her earlier years in Oxford, Alabama until she moved to Dothan in 1955. She was a homemaker and a member of the Garden Club and charter member of Highland Park United Methodist Church. She loved to square dance and she was a member of the Do-si-do and square dance.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Robert Dishman and her sister Ruth Golson.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Pope; her sister, Sara (Kenneth) Roberts; her grandchild, Robin Davis Greer; 3 great grandchildren, Alan Buckrucker, Kyle Hague Greer, and Eric Ross Greer; great-great grandchildren, Fiona Buckrucker and Finn Buckrucker; nieces and nephews, Emily Armistead, Bill Roberts, and Amy Woods.
